Frontline would like to thank all of the Game admins, the Oklahoma players and our fellow JFOK for a great day of Airsoft. Weather turned out to be about perfect after a chilly night. Because we had to assault 5 different locations on the field we finally got to see there entire place, which is awesome. Last year we didn't make it past the comm tower for the most part. The KPA were greatly outnumbered but still put up a hell of a fight; I think there was only 5 minutes remaining in game time when we finally cleared the last stronghold. It was greatness to see all 100+ JFOK descend upon the last objective in one giant wave. We launched all 5 of our rockets into the area as the assault began, as we got into AEG range the whole area lit up. Great job JFOK and especially to UAL ( fellow Texans ) and Swamp Fox from Colorado, you all are a bunch of hard charging mofos !
To the group of KPA at objective 3 that were ambushed by us, hope that there are no hard feelings. When the Objective 2 was complete we immediately headed to get in a position to come in from behind when our main forces began pushing on 3. We humped it all the way around the outer perimeter of the field to come in from their right rear flank. When we got into position we went silent and waited for the main assault to begin, our SL attempted to reach Command and let them know our status but couldn't get comms with them. So, we just decided to hold in place until we heard some action, we could hear KPA talking about 50 meters from where we were. We had been there about 15 minutes when 5 or 6 KPA began moving towards our location on a perimeter patrol. We stayed silent until one of their guys got about 50 feet away from me and was about to see me so I lit him up. At that point more KPA began moving towards our location and we decided to wait as long as possible before opening up. One of the advancing KPA came across the guy I shot and yelled out "Friendly ??” We all stayed quiet and then he yelled "Friendly? Are you green or tan?” So, I responded "Yeah". He asked again, "Green or Tan?” To which I replied, "Green". Then the guy got mad and said we just killed one of our own guys and then began walking towards us so we opened up on him and the couple of guys that were with him. More yelling about whom we were and more return fire from us, we took out a couple more guys and held in place. They took out our SL and we traded volleys for several minutes just trying to keep their attention until the main force arrived. Right about then we got word that our entire JFOK force was holding at the cross roads and our orders were to head back for a break. So, our acting SL had us advance and take out as many guys as possible until we were killed. As we made it to the crossroads we met the rest of the JFOK heading in to take 3. I can understand that these guys were upset but obviously we weren't going to say, "Yeah we're tan and we are here to sneak in and attack you here in a minute". This is Milsim after all.
Looking forward to next year ...
